Breakfast And Birthday Wishes For 94-Year-Old Palmetto Bay Vet

PALMETTO BAY, FL — If you don't already have plans for Sunday morning, you might want to stop by the American Legion in Palmetto Bay for breakfast. While you're there, be sure to wish a happy 94th birthday to Jim Ross. The nonagenarian is a U.S. military veteran.
Breakfast will cost you only a $6 donation to the American Legion but the memories for Ross will be priceless. The event is organized by Councilmember David Singer.
"The honorable Mayor Eugene Flinn, and the entire Village Council invite you to the American Legion of Palmetto Bay to help us provide a proclamation that will be presented to him and support our veterans," according to village officials.

"Councilmember Singer will personally prepare breakfast for all attendees for a six dollar donation to the American Legion," officials added. "The Village will pay for up to 30 veterans who reside in Palmetto Bay."
The American Legion post is located at 16401 SW 90th Ave. The event takes place from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
