DUI Sweeps Planned in Southwest Miami-Dade
Miami-Dade police will be stopping cars from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Friday.

MIAMI, FL — Miami-Dade police will be stopping cars on Friday night in rolling DUI sweeps from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. in southwest Miami-Dade.
Detective Robin Pinkard of the Miami-Dade Police Department told Patch that officers will focus on the area along US 1 between SW 57 Avenue and SW 88 Street.
The special enforcement will be conducted by the Miami-Dade Police Department's Motorcycle Unit under a Florida Department of Transportation grant initiative.
