Florida Mom Punishes 6-Year-Old Son By Burning His Hand: Police
The 29-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly punishing the boy by placing his hand on a hot stove.
CUTLER BAY, FL - A 29-year-old Cutler Bay woman was arrested Thursday for allegedly punishing her 6-year-old son by placing his hand on a hot stove, according to a police report. Miriam Rebolledo was charged with aggravated child abuse.
Rebolledo said she was told by school officials on Wednesday that her son was hitting other students at school, police said. She said she had used other forms of punishment, but they had not worked.
Rebolledo said she used a more extreme form of punishment because “she could not take it anymore,” the report said.
