Homestead Child Airlifted After School Injury
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue confirmed that a child under 10 suffered an injury at a Homestead elementary school and had to be airlifted.
HOMESTEAD, FL — A young child had to be airlifted on Tuesday after suffering an injury at a Homestead elementary school, according to Lt. Felipe Lay of Miami-Dade Fire Rescue. The incident happened before 2 p.m. The child and elementary school were not immediately identified.
"A child less than 10-years-old suffered (a) fall and was airlifted out," Lay told Patch.
