Little Piece Of Canada Lands In Miami

MIAMI, FL — A little piece of Canada may have come to Miami, but our neighbor to the north appears to have taken it back. At least that was the appearance on Wednesday when two members of the Canadian military showed up at a home to pick up a six-person life raft that literally fell from the sky. It crashed through the roof of a home in Miami-Dade County.
"There were reports of something falling through the roof of a house," said Captain W. A. McAllister of the Miami-Dade Fire Department.
That's when officials discovered the raft.

News crews captured video of the Canadians picking up the raft.
McAllister said that the person who lives in the home was sleeping at the time. The raft landed in a bedroom.
