Doral Residents Affected By Water Main Break Told To Boil Water

A number of Doral residents were told to boil their water following a water main break earlier this week.

DORAL, FL β€” Miami-Dade College West Campus was closed Tuesday and a number of Doral residents were told to boil their water after a water main break sent water pouring into some city streets. The break left the campus without water, according to the university's Hesselin Fernandez De Cueto.

Miami-Dade Water & Sewer issued a precautionary boil water notice for a portion of Doral. The notice affects customers from NW 34 Street to NW 41 Street and NW 107 Avenue to NW 136 Place as well as customers from NW 41 Street to NW 42 Street and NW 107 Avenue to NW 109 Avenue.

Officials said the precautionary boil water notice would be lifted following a minimum of two days of clear testing.
