Curlew Hills Memory Gardens Invites the Community To Its Annual Veterans Day Ceremony This November 11th
Join Curlew Hills November 11 at 9:30 a.m. to honor veterans with a special ceremony, live music & Keynote Speaker Col. Pamela Cheever, PhD.

As our community prepares to honor all those who have served, Curlew Hills Memory Gardens invites everyone to its annual Veterans Day ceremony on Tuesday, November 11 at 9:30 a.m. at 1750 Curlew Road in Palm Harbor. This meaningful event is free and open to the public and provides an opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices of our local veterans.
This year’s program includes:
- Presentation of Colors to honor all branches of the military
- Keynote remarks from retired Col. Pamela Cheever, PhD – Pamela Cheever, PhD, retired from the U.S. Army at the rank of Colonel after serving for 30 years. Col Cheever was commissioned as a Military Police Officer. Highlights include assistant professor at West Point, multiple positions at the Pentagon and multiple combat & hostile environments to include Kuwait and Afghanistan. She also served in a leadership position at Special Operations Command at MacDill Air Force Base
- National Anthem by Jenny Dean – Reporter & News Anchor with 10 Tampa Bay News
- Tampa Bay Harolds of Harmony – an award-winning harmony choral group performing patriotic favorites
The ceremony is designed to bring families, neighbors, and veterans together in a spirit of respect and remembrance. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure seating and take in the peaceful grounds of Curlew Hills.
