Palm Harbor Business Owner Appointed To Governing Board
David Dunbar has been appointed the Southwest Florida Water Management District's Governing Board.

A Palm Harbor man has been appointed to the Southwest Florida Water Management District’s Governing Board by Gov. Rick Scott, according to a media release issued by the district.
Governor Rick Scott appointed David Dunbar to the Southwest Florida Water Management District’s Governing Board. Dunbar replaces Jennifer Closshey whose term ended on March 1 of this year. The Governing Board seat is a joint Pinellas/Hillsborough seat.
Dunbar’s appointment is for a term beginning July 9, 2013 and ending March 1, 2017.
Dunbar is a commercial banker with Synovus Bank of Florida in Palm Harbor. He received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Florida State University.
