Palm Harbor Child Actor Lends Voice to 'ParaNorman'

Tucker Albrizzi, 12, who grew up in Palm Harbor before moving to Los Angeles, stars in one of the lead roles in the new animated movie.

If you've checked out the animated movie "ParaNorman," which hit theaters this past weekend, one of the lead characters' voices may sound familiar.

Tucker Albrizzi, 12, of Palm Harbor, stars in one of the lead roles, "Neil," Bay News 9 reports.

Albrizzi, who now lives with his family in Los Angeles, is already building quite a resume in Hollywood. His credits include parts in films such as "Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked" and "Bridesmaids," plus recurring guest star roles on Disney shows "Good Luck Charlie" and "Zeke and Luther," among others.

"I’ve been told I was funny like Jonah Hill and Jack Black,” Albrizzi told Bay News 9.  “I’m told I’m the kind of kid, you know, the one that always makes people laugh.  I’ve been told I have a unique look.”

Albrizzi was born in Orlando but grew up in Palm Harbor, attending , before moving to L.A. in the third grade to pursue his acting career, Bay News 9 reports. He was featured in a documentary about his efforts to hold bone marrow drives across the country after his older brother was diagnosed with leukemia.
