Palm Harbor Library Puts Callout for Artists

Palm Harbor Library is inviting Tampa Bay area artists to exhibit work in next year's lineup in the John Brock Art Alcove.

Palm Harbor Library is inviting Tampa Bay area artists to exhibit work in next year's lineup in the John Brock Art Alcove.

Work should "possess strong public appeal" and "be crafted or framed to a professional standard," according to a news release from the Palm Harbor Public Library. 

Application deadline for consideration for 2014 is Saturday, Nov. 2.

The John Brock Art Alcove is an indoor space inside the Palm Harbor Library. It has wall space and four pedestals with attachable acrylic hoods for displaying sculptures and other artwork that can't be hung on the wall, the news release says.

To have your work considered for display, obtain an application on the Palm Harbor Library's website at www.palmharborlibrary.org.
