Palm Harbor Man, 19, Killed In Crash
A Palm Harbor man was killed in a Monday night motorcycle crash on Ulmerton Road.

PALM HARBOR, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a Monday night crash on Ulmerton Road that left a 19-year-old Palm Harbor man dead.
According to the agency, Jessie Sue Leonard, 28, of Largo was heading eastbound on Ulmerton Road in a Jeep around 11:36 p.m. Aug. 7. Troopers say Leonard was in the left lane nearing Coral Way as Rodney Thomas Hydorn was riding a Suzuki Katana west on Ulmerton.

Leonard “turned left into the path” of Hydorn, a highway patrol report said. Hydorn was thrown from his motorcycle and died at the scene, troopers noted.
Leonard suffered minor injuries in the crash and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Her passenger was not injured.
