Palm Harbor Man Seriously Hurt in I-75 Crash in Sarasota
The 22-year-old was injured when he lost control of his car and struck a tree, the Florida Highway Patrol reports.

A Palm Harbor man was seriously injured when he lost control of his car on Interstate 75 in Sarasota County and struck a tree Monday afternoon.
Johnathan Jermaine Roberson, 22, was headed north on I-75 around mile marker 189 in North Port when, for unknown reasons, he lost control of his 2001 Pontiac Trans Am, the Florida Highway Patrol.
The car left the roadway and entered the grass median, where it began to rotate, according to investigators. The left side of the car struck a tree, causing Roberson to be seriously injured.

He was airlifted to Blake Medical Center in Bradenton, the highway patrol reports.
Roberson was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and alcohol was not a factor, according to investigators.
