Palm Harbor Resident is Excited About Running for Fire Commissioner

Community leader Erica Lynford has lived in Palm Harbor for over 40 years and hopes to now serve the community as Fire Commissioner

There's a new adventure ahead for well-known Palm Harbor resident Erica Lynford. In November, she hopes to be elected to Seat 3 with the Palm Harbor Fire Commission.

Erica has called Palm Harbor her home for over 40 years and is proud to have raised her three children here. With a true heart for the community, her hands-on commitment to Palm Harbor has run both deep and wide. Countless volunteer hours and community leadership positions have been the backbone of her four decades in Palm Harbor.

Erica has been the Director of Palm Harbor Parks and Recreation since 2011, diligently working her way up since joining the organization in 2003. Her 20+ years with Palm Harbor Parks and Recreation has made a large impact on the community by creating innovative recreational programs that met the evolving interests of the local residents.

Erica is well known as an energetic, boots-on-the-ground person who jumps in and gets things accomplished. Her passion for community service and knack for partnership building has led her to many leadership roles in Palm Harbor.

“I am truly honored to be running for Fire Commission Seat #3,” comments Erica. “It is my dream to serve the Fire District so I can make a positive difference on its services and policies. And I strongly believe I have the background and energy to do just that!”

Erica is excited about her continued plans to selflessly serve the Palm Harbor community and has a passionate desire to support the Special Fire District. Being elected as a Fire Commissioner will enhance her ability to more deeply serve Palm Harbor and support the local Fire District needs.
