Palm Harbor Teen Killed In Pedestrian Crash

An early Monday morning crash on U.S. 19 left one Palm Harbor teen dead and another critically injured.

PALM HARBOR, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a Monday morning crash that left an 18-year-old Palm Harbor man dead and an 18-year-old woman critically injured.

According to the agency, Scott Allen Grab, 47, of Palm Harbor was driving a Honda Civic northbound on U.S. 19 around 3:52 a.m. July 31. As Grab neared the intersection of Alderman Road in the outside center lane, troopers say Cameron David Bolle and Kaylee Marie Cramer were crossing the road eastbound.

Cramer and Bolle were walking along the south portion of the intersection “against a pedestrian walk signal,” a highway patrol report said. The two traveled into the path of the oncoming vehicle, the report noted.

Both Bolle and Cramer were hit by the car, the report said. Bolle died at the scene. Cramer was hospitalized with injuries described as critical.

The crash closed the northbound lanes of U.S. 19 until 7:10 a.m., troopers said.

Charges are pending the outcome of the patrol’s investigation. No further information is available at this time.
