PALM HARBOR, FL — Curlew Hills Memory Gardens of Palm Harbor is pleased to announce its 34th annual Veterans Day Ceremony, Thursday, Nov. 11 at 9:30 a.m.

The moving observance program will take place at Curlew Hills Memory Gardens, 1750 Curlew Road in Palm Harbor. The event is free and the public is invited to attend.

The special guest speaker will be United States Army veteran Lieutenant Colonel Michael Bogmenko, U.S. Army (ret).

Lieutenant Colonel Bogmenko's accomplishments include over forty years in the U.S.Army in a wide variety of leadership roles inside the military reservists sector of the United States Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command.He additionally spent thirty-four years working in Law Enforcement in Cook County, Illinois as a civilian police officer. Lieutenant Colonel Bogmenko's numerous decorations include the Bronze Star & the Purple Heart and he served many tours in both Afghanistan and Iraq.

The Veterans Day ceremony will include an honor guard with presentation of colors. Live musical performances will be highlighted with band and choral performances by Westlake Christian School of Palm Harbor.
