: "This is far from an issue about saving parents money. I won't be saving a dime because of these changes, not even a penny. My child still needs clothes. Period. In fact, this decision will most likely cost parents MORE money than before. Yes, I said MORE money. That's because now my kid needs school clothes AND street clothes for the times she's not being FORCED to wear a certain type of clothes. So this decision does nothing more than cost us parents more money."

: "It's great!!! I'm sure it will help some people, but i dont think that is the reason. Yes it might help them focus. It will keep the in class. Will also help the parents stay at work. To many kids where inappropriate clothing for school and the parents have to bring them different clothes. What are u going to do when they get a job and they have to wear certain clothing?"

: "This code is geared for the boys. They are allowed to wear sports shirts, and their basketball shorts. Girls are expected to follow the boy’s dress code and not allowed to dress girly such as v neck T with a cotton camie underneath."

: "Thank You Pinellas County School Board-I now get to decide whether to feed or dress my child-love it(not)- you want to change the dress code then YOU need to give me the money to go out and buy my child all new shirts-and jeans since she can't have imiprinted tshirts, the v-neck and boat collaredshirts like she owns-and the embroydered, dress jeans that are perfeclty appropriate-gone."
