Will Local Teen Advance on 'America's Got Talent?'
East Lake High senior Lindsey Norton impressed celebrity judges Howard Stern, Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel on Tuesday night; now she waits for America's votes to decide her fate.
A local teen impressed the celebrity judges on NBC's "America's Got Talent" with her acrobatic dance act on Tuesday night.
Lindsey Norton, 17, an East Lake High senior, peformed in front of a live audience and judges Howard Stern, Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.
"A beautiful, graceful young lady, that's what you are," Stern said after Norton's performance. "Job well done. Beautiful. Inspirational. Bravo, bravo."

"That is so impressive," said Mandel. "It is so amazing. I love you, I love your personality, I love the way you dance. It's so unique, yet it's not. I think it looks like an Olympic floor exercise but it's dance."
"Everything about you is so lovely. You're such a likeable, lovely young girl," Osbourne said. "I can't even put it into words. Every time I see you perform, I love you a little bit more. You are an absolute delight, the way you filled the stage tonight, you should be representing America in gymnastics this year in the Olympics."

Now Norton will wait for America's votes to determine if she gets to move on in the talent competition and have a shot at the million-dollar prize.
Voting ends Wednesday night at 9, when the next elimination episode airs on WFLA. To vote for Norton, call 1-866-60-AGT-10.
The talented teen, who recently won the Dance category in Walker's Rising Stars scholarship competition, tweeted after the performance: "Dancing on that stage was truly incredible <3 tonight was the best night of my life!!! Please vote everyone!!!!!! :):):)"
