PALM HARBOR, FL - The former president of the Suncoast Youth Football Conference has been accused of stealing about $29,000 from the organization, deputies said. Leonard Anderson, 61, of Palm Harbor, has been charged with one count of grand theft.
Pinellas County sheriff's detectives began their investigation in May 2017 after the Suncoast Youth Football Conference reported they had noted multiple discrepancies during a financial audit. The thefts occurred between December 2016 and May 2017 and resulted in more than $29,000 being stolen from the organization, according to detectives.
