DUI Sweeps Planned On Friday Night Into Saturday In Miami-Dade
Miami-Dade police will be stopping cars from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. starting on Friday night.
MIAMI, FL — Miami-Dade police will be stopping cars starting on Friday night in rolling DUI sweeps from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. in southwest Miami-Dade.
Detective Robin Pinkard of the Miami-Dade Police Department told Patch that officers will focus on the area along SW 88 Street between 157 Avenue and 137 Avenue.
The special enforcement will be conducted by the Miami-Dade Police Department's Motorcycle Unit under a Florida Department of Transportation grant initiative.
