DUI Sweeps Tonight in SW Miami-Dade
Miami-Dade police will be stopping cars from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Thursday.
MIAMI, FL — Miami-Dade police will be stopping cars on Thursday night in rolling DUI sweeps from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. in southwest Miami-Dade.
Detective Robin Pinkard of the Miami-Dade Police Department told Patch that officers will focus on the area along Bird Road between SW 57 Avenue and SW 82 Avenue.
The special enforcement will be conducted by the Miami-Dade Police Department's Motorcycle Unit under a Florida Department of Transportation grant initiative.
