Couple Killed While Crossing Gulf Boulevard In St. Pete Beach

ST. PETE BEACH, FL — Two pedestrians were killed after being struck by a vehicle while crossing in the area of 4506 Gulf Blvd. in St. Pete Beach around 6:15 p.m. Tuesday.

According to investigators, 51-year-old Jennifer Perman was driving south in the curb lane on Gulf Boulevard in a 2016 GMC Yukon XL. Brian Allen, 61, and Jane Allen, 63, were crossing Gulf Boulevard from east to west outside the designated crosswalk.

Investigators said Perman struck the couple with her Yukon in the southbound curb lane.Investigators said speed and impairment were not factors in the crash.
