Art Bazaar, Evening Storms on Saturday

Aside from a number of local events taking place today, the weather looks promising for most of the day.

1) market takes place today at Paradise Grille. The event begins at 9am. Visit local art and craft vendors and scope the home made works they have up for grabs. Don’t forget to stop by the booth and check out the family-owned and operated tie-dye business.

Enjoy the sun while you can. The high is 91, but evening thunderstorms may rain out your picnic plans. The chance of rain is 40%.

With Tropical Storm Ernesto lingering in the Atlantic, be sure and download the new American Red Cross safety app. The free app features shelter locations, a toolkit and tips for before and after the storm.

Earlier this week, the Southwest Florida Water Management District’s Governing Board lifted the one-day-a-week watering restriction for the following counties: Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas.
