Celebrate Pinellas Park Prepares For 47th Christmas Parade
The 49th annual Pinellas Park Christmas Parade will take place Saturday at 6 p.m. on Park Boulevard.
PINELLAS PARK, FL — The 49th annual Celebrate Pinellas Park Christmas Parade will take place Saturday, Dec. 10 starting at 6 p.m.
The parade will feature more than 100 units including local businesses, dance units, Scout troops, car clubs, high school marching bands and floats with a special appearance by Santa Claus.
The parade begins at 6 p.m. and proceeds east down Park Boulevard between 58th Street (Railroad Crossing) and 40th Street (The Shoppes at Park Place).

The parade can only be viewed from the south side of Park Boulevard.
To accommodate the parade, the following road closures will take place:

- Noon: Closure of eastbound Park Boulevard beginning at 66th Street.
- 1:30 p.m.: Eastbound Park Boulevard will be closed from 66th Street to 58th Street.
- 1:45 p.m. Closure of eastbound Park Boulevard at 49th Street.
- 2:15 p.m.: Eastbound Park Boulevard will be closed from 66th Street to 49th Street.
- 2:30 p.m.: Eastbound Park Boulevard will be closed from 66th Street to 40th Street.
All Park Boulevard cross streets are affected by the closures including 49th Street starting at 2:15 p.m.

U.S. 19, 66th Street and Belcher Road/71st Street will be the only alternatives in the area for going north or south.
The roads will reopen once the parade and cleanup is over.
