Are you a fan of the Gulf Beaches Public Library?
About 83,000 people visited the library over the past year, checking out almost 144,000 items including books, DVDs, audio books and E-books, the Beach Beacon reports.Â
In its 2011-12 biannual report, the library said 42,000 people have also used its computers for e-mail, social media, job searching and more, the Beacon reports.

The library serves Madeira Beach, Redington Beach, North Redington Beach, Redington Shores and Treasure Island, as well as member cities of the Pinellas Public Library Cooperative, unincorporated Pinellas and out-of-town guests.
