According to the city, every effort will be made to stay on public land and rights of way; however it may be necessary for the engineers to enter upon privately-owned property for short periods to gather study information.
Should this happen, a news release said, an employee from the contracting firm will make every attempt to contact the property owner to seek permission. Upon request, the engineer will identify themselves by driver’s license and a letter of introduction.
