The all-volunteer museum opened to the public in 1993.

Tucked just steps from the beach in historic Pass-A-Grille, the museum highlights island history and sea life.

The museum is located in the building, which was the first church of the Barrier Islands. A current exhibit features sea turtles.

Summer hours are Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sundays the museum is open 1-4 p.m. Free admission. Donations accepted.

Museum is located at 115 10th Ave, St. Pete Beach.
