Indian Rocks Beach Man Dead After Motorcycle Crash

A 40-year-old Indian Rocks Beach man is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Seminole.

SEMINOLE, FL — The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a single-vehicle motorcycle crash that left a 40-year-old Indian Rocks Beach man dead Wednesday morning.

According to the agency, Eric D. Cahill was heading east in the median lane of Bay Pines Boulevard around 2:30 a.m. Dec. 21. As Cahill’s 2007 Suzuki traveled just west of the Bay Pines Triangle overpass, deputies say he lost control of the bike.

Cahill’s motorcycle left the road and hit a guardrail, an email from the agency said. Cahill was thrown from the bike and died at the scene.
