INDIAN ROCKS BEACH, FL -- If you're searching for one of the most romantic seaside locations in the country to spend Valentine's Day, you don't have to go far.

According to Coastal Living magazine, Indian Rocks Beach is the No. 2 destination in the country -- right behind Honolulu, Hawaii.

Coastal Living surveyed readers to find the nine most romantic seaside cities, and Indian Rocks Beach topped the list for "its gorgeous beaches and Old Florida vibes."

Bordered by the Intracoastal Waterway on the east and the Gulf of Mexico on the west, Indian Rocks Beach offers three miles of white sand beaches with 27 beach access points along Gulf Boulevard.

Coastal Living suggests couples spend Valentine's Day sunbathing, exploring the town's quaint locally owned shops and ending the day with a fresh seafood dinner at one of the Indian Rock Beach's eateries.

Favorite romantic places to stay include Sarah's Seaside Old Florida cottages, Colonial Court Inn and the Laughing Lizard Bed and Breakfast.

And while in Indian Rocks Beach, visit the Beach Art Center, the Indian Rocks Historical Museum, 1st Street Boardwalk, the Indian Rocks Beach Nature Preserve, Keegan Clair Park and Chief Chic-A-Si Park.
