SEMINOLE, FL — Joella’s Hot Chicken, a Louisville-based fast-casual restaurant featuring hot chicken and made-from-scratch sides, has relaunched its Seminole restaurant, 7893 113th St., unveiling new menu items, additional service capabilities, and offering their best deal on the company’s famed jumbo chicken meal.

Attending the grand reopening ceremony and ribbon-cutting event were Mayor Leslie Waters, Vice Mayor Chris Burke, city councilmen, representatives from the Seminole Chamber of Commerce, along with other business and community leaders.

“I am thrilled to be a part of the grand re-opening of Joella’s and looking forward to seeing this restaurant as a thriving part of our community again. Our office is actively committed to engaging with businesses and moving Seminole’s economy forward,” said Waters.

With a location eight minutes away in Largo, the Seminole restaurant closed in an effort to streamline operations and prioritize safety measures during the unprecedented pandemic. The much-anticipated re-opening accommodates customers’ needs for safety with the addition of curbside pick-up and takeaway meal packs.

“We took some time to evaluate how we could meet the changing needs of our customers in an effort to give them the hand-crafted comfort food they craved and also a dining experience they would enjoy. The family picnic packs were born out of our desire to offer our guests more ways to enjoy our fresh, all-natural chicken and made-from-scratch sides in the comfort of their own home,” says Christina Happel, regional vice president of operations for Joella’s Hot Chicken. “Pinellas County has embraced our hot chicken brand, along with our Southern hospitality and family-friendly atmosphere, and we look forward to being a part of the community again.”
