Klink Delivering Beer on the Beach

MADEIRA BEACH, FL — Visitors to Archibald Beach Park won’t have to travel far to get their hands on an ice cold beer. Corona Extra and Klink are teaming up to offer beachside deliver this Saturday, Aug. 27.

The one-day promotion will enable users of the Klink app to order cans of Corona for delivery to their beachfront locations. To take part, all beachgoers need to do is use the Klink app to order their beer. Once an order is placed, Corona will be delivered to a designated drop location on the beach via a dinghy.

“Klink is all about delivering great experiences to customers,” Jeffrey Nadel, Klink’s CEO told Patch. “We wanted to give beachgoers a completely new and exciting experience during one of the hottest summers on record. So, instead of delivering to customers’ doorsteps, we’re bringing beer to the beach, where many people love to spend their weekends during the summer.”

Customers who order their Coronas via the Klink app will find that both Corona Extra and Corona Light will be offered at the normal retail price. Nadel promises there won’t be markups or additional fees for delivery by boat.

The first-ever team-up in Madeira Beach between Klink and Corona also involved a partnership with the city, Nadel said.

“To bring this event to life, we worked very closely with the city of Madeira Beach to secure all necessary permits so that our promotion is executed in a safe and compliant way,” Nadel said. “Overall, it’s been a city-wide collaboration and we’re so appreciative of the warm welcome the community has extended to us. We're really looking forward to bringing this very exciting, first-of-its-kind event to beachgoers at Archibald Beach Park on Saturday and delivering them ice cold Corona right to the sand.”

And, for Corona lovers who just can’t imagine sipping an ice cold one without a lime, Nadel said Klink has them covered.

“How could we serve Corona without the lime,” he asked. Each order will arrive with a container of freshly sliced limes, Nadel promised.

Saturday’s promotion takes place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Should the weather not cooperate, Klink has set a rain date for Aug. 28. Archibald Beach Park is located at 15100 Gulf Blvd.
