Support for Boston; Beach Community Members React

As news broke Monday afternoon that at least two people died and another 22 were injured after two explosions occurred near the finish line of the Boston Marathon, community members began to offer thoughts and prayers on Facebook.

According to the Boston Marathon's website, at least one runner in this year's race listed Redington Beach as his or her hometown. If you wish to search for 2013 Boston Marathon runners, click here.

While we are sad that anyone had to experience this, we are happy to report that it appears all the runners from Naples are safe and secure.
