Madeira Beach To Host 21st Annual Veterans Boat Parade
Proceeds from the event go to local veterans' organizations.

MADEIRA BEACH, FL – While many people around Pinellas County are gearing up for holiday boat parades, Madeira Beach will kick off the season first by celebrating Veterans Day.
The city will host its 21st annual Veterans Boat Parade on Saturday, Nov. 11 in the waterways around Madeira Beach. The opening ceremonies are set to take place at 10 a.m. and the parade is scheduled to start at 10:45 a.m.
The parade honors veterans and active servicemen and women from all branches of the military. Participating boats will be decked out in patriotic colors with cash prizes up for grabs in two divisions. Proceeds from the event will go to local veterans’ organizations.

The opening ceremonies will take place on the main dock of the American Legion Post 273, just north of the Tom Stuart Causeway in Madeira Beach. The parade starts from the same location and will head north to the Redington Drive canal, then turn south to Treasure Island. The route then goes into the Madeira Beach City Hall canal, Boca Ciega Bay, John’s Pass and the large canal of Capri Isles and Isle of Palms.
