Matter of Taste: Potatoes Your Way

With a number of dishes that highlight potatoes as the main ingredient, you'll never be bored with the options that the beach has to offer.

  • Seahorse Restaurant

Breakfast potatoes are a great way to start the day. The Seahorse Restaurant, located at 800 Pass-A-Grille Way, has perfected their potato recipe. A side order of fresh pieces of potato are cut then fried before being served ($2.55). Add some salt and pepper to make it just right. Smother the home fried potatoes for just $1 more and add some pep to your step.

Potato skins can be the perfect precursor to a meal or just a good snack while enjoying a sporting event. The Brass Monkey offers an entire potato skin menu, complete with five different preparations: pizza ($8), mexican ($9), seafood ($12), crab ($11) or traditional ($8). For something a little less ordinary, try the seafood skins with a blend of crab, scallop, shrimp and cheddar cheese.

Order tater-tots from Postcard Inn’s restaurant, Wildwood BBQ and enjoy them as a side or as an appetizer. Choose from three recipes: seasoned, garlic and parmesan or chili cheese. The appetizer portion sells for a slim $5.
