Motorcyclist In Critical Condition Following Crash In Seminole

A motorcyclist is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries following a crash on Park Street North and County Road 16 in Seminole.

SEMINOLE, FL — A motorcyclist is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries following a crash on Park Street North and County Road 16 in Seminole on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, 16-year-old Nicholas Montecalvo was driving south on Park Street North in a 2021 Ford F150 at 4:30 p.m. At the same time, 67-year-old David Lindholm was traveling west on County Road 16 on a 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Deputies said Lindholm stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Park Street North and County Road 16. As Montecalvo entered the intersection, Lindholm attempted to cross Park Street, striking the driver's side of Montecalvo's pickup truck.

Lindholm was taken to the hospital where he's listed in critical condition. According to investigators, impairment appears to be a factor in the crash.
