Obie Loves to Swim and Play

Obie, a 3 year old labrador retriever/hound mix, loves to swim in the water and play fetch with his toys. In addition to Obie’s sweet, playful nature, he knows commands like “sit” and “shake.”

The previous adopter for Obie brought him back to the shelter because he was so playful. Obie needs an active owner, who loves to have a companion. With his love for the water, it would not be surprising to see Obie learn to stay on a paddleboard or kayak.

Obie is a sweet and friendly boy. He is looking for a home with a lot of love and activity.

How to Adopt

Obie is ready to go to his forever home. He is spayed and microchipped. The adoption fee is $35 and includes the first set of shots, a collar and leash, a bag of food and a toy for the dog.
