Orange Grove Elementary Principal Finalist For State Principal Of Year

SEMINOLE, FL — Dr. Christine Wilson, principal at Orange Grove Elementary in Seminole, is one of three finalists for the 2023 Florida Department of Education Principal of the Year.

Wilson was initially named Pinellas County Schools Principal of the Year in October when Superintendent Kevin Hendrick gave her the red-carpet treatment in a schoolwide surprise celebration.

“This is humbling, amazing, an honor,” Wilson said at the time. “It’s not me as the principal; it’s every single person in this room.”

Hendrick once again recognized Wilson in front of her peers at Thursday’s Districtwide Principals Leadership meeting at the administrative offices.
