Photos: Bayway Bridge Opens

The first part of the project is complete and traffic is now running over the new bridge.

The Eastbound Bayway Bridge has opened as crews from the Florida Department of Transportation tear down the old Bayway Bridge. 

While construction is far from complete, Patch decided to snap a few photos of the new bridge being used Monday. 

The entire bridge replacement project will be complete by late Summer 2014, according to FDOT
