Pinellas Park Offers Free Permits To Remodel, Repair Homes
Pinellas Park residents who've been thinking about doing some home repairs or remodeling projects are in luck during the month of March.

PINELLAS PARK, FL – Pinellas Park residents who’ve been thinking about doing some home repairs or remodeling projects are in luck during the month of March.
Starting Monday, March 5, and running through Friday, March 23, the City of Pinellas Park’s Building Development Division will issue free permits for specific construction and repair work on residential properties.
The permit giveaway kicks off Pride in the Park, the city’s annual spring cleanup program scheduled for March 10.

"This is a great opportunity for Pinellas Park residents to obtain a free permit for home improvement projects such as roofing, alterations, minor repairs, fencing, deck work, barns, sheds, trees, patios and concrete driveways," said Steve Lee, director
of building development for the city.

On Saturday, March 10, residents are encouraged to improve the appearance of their properties by getting rid of trash and yard waste at Pinellas Park drop-off sites open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
These sites are:
· Bank of America rear parking lot - 5100 block of 72nd Avenue
· Broderick Park - 6700 block of 62nd Street
· City Property - Northwest corner of 78th Avenue and 60th Street
· Home Depot parking lot - 4040 Park Blvd.
· Pinebrook Park parking lot - 7002 118th Ave.
· Sacred Heart Church parking lot - 8001 46th St.
· Skyview Recreation parking lot - 5400 block of 90th Ave.
· Waste Management/City Brush Transfer Site - 12950 40th St.
