Prost: Celebrate Oktoberfest On The Beach
After a nail-biting week, you deserve a beer, or two.

INDIAN ROCKS BEACH, FL -- After a nail-biting week, you deserve a beer, or two. And the Indian Rocks Beach Oktoberfest on the Beach is ready to accommodate you.
The festival is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 13 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Kolb Park, 1507 Bay Palm Blvd.
This beachy version of the German tradition has become a signature event for the the Indian Rocks Beach community and has helped to raise funds for Action 2000.

This event isn't just about the beer. The family-friendly festival includes a Kinderfest from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., a silent auction from from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., a 50/50 raffle (past winners have won more than $5,000), live music by Erica DeCeglie & Band, German folk dancers, international food vendors, craft vendors and key-throwing and stein-carrying contests.
Oktoberfest proceeds have allowed A2K to jointly fund several city street-scaping projects, pedestrian benches and shelters along Gulf Boulevard..
