Scuba Camp, hosted by Jim’s Dive Shop, has been an ongoing event at the St. Pete Beach Community Center. Next week, Monday through Friday, will be the last course. The camp is open to anyone, ten years or older.
Join the pros and learn the basics of scuba diving with both pool and open water lessons. Classroom sessions will also be included in the package.
The week-long camp is $400 per student and includes: textbook, dive tables and a logbook as well as the use of tanks, regulators, buoyancy compensators and wetsuits. Students are responsible for having their own mask, fins, snorkel, weights, weight belt and boots.
Campers will end the week with an open water scuba certification.
Contact Jim’s Dive shop to register, as the final week of camp begins on Monday, July 30.
