Shark Spotted In Waters Near Caddy’s: Madeira Beach Officials

A shark was seen swimming after a school of fish in Gulf waters off Kitty Stuart Park Monday morning, Madeira Beach officials said.

MADEIRA BEACH, FL — A shark was spotted swimming in Gulf waters off Kitty Stuart Park Monday morning, the city of Madeira Beach wrote in a Facebook post.

The sighting came just days after a 45-year-old woman and two teenage girls were victims in two separate shark attacks that caused at least one amputation, Friday at neighboring beaches in the Florida Panhandle.

In Madeira Beach, the shark was seen swimming after a school of fish, city officials said.
