Thomas McKeown, 86, was hit and dragged by a pickup truck, driven by his son, in the parking lot. The truck left the scene before deputies arrived, the sheriff’s office said.
His son backed the truck into a space in the lot, and as Thomas McKeown walked toward it, he fell in front of it. The truck then moved and ran over the man, dragging him in the parking lot.

Mark McKeown reversed and moved the truck forward several more times, running over his father each time before leaving the parking lot, deputies said.
His father was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
“Impairment appears to be a factor in the crash,” the sheriff’s office said.
