Stabbing Leads To Attempted Murder Charges For Pinellas Park Man

A Pinellas Park man has been charged with attempted murder after ​police said he stabbed a man during an argument Wednesday.

PINELLAS PARK, FL — A Pinellas Park man has been charged with attempted murder after police said he stabbed a man during an argument Wednesday.

Around 7:45 p.m., Pinellas Park police were called to a disturbance in the 10300 block of Oakhaven Drive.

Investigators said Van Vui Duong, 56, invited a man to his home. While drinking together, a verbal fight broke out that escalated with Duong stabbing the other man twice with a knife.

The man was taken to the hospital where he's in stable condition.

Duong has been charged with attempted second-degree murder, police said.
