Stranded Dog Rescued From Floodwaters In Pinellas Park
The Pinellas Park Fire Department and Pinellas Park Police mounted a rescue operation after a dog was trapped in floodwaters.
PINELLAS PARK, FL — The Pinellas Park Fire Department and Pinellas Park Police mounted a rescue operation after a dog was in floodwater beneath a bridge in the 9000 block of 58th Street following last week's downpours.
Once rescued, the frightened dog was treated for minor injuries.
According to Pinellas Park Police Capt. Adam Geissenberger, the dog is now in the custody of Pinellas County Animal Services.
