Team Effort Rescues Pinellas Park Pooch From Sewer

PINELLAS PARK, FL — Rescuing an inquisitive pup who fell into a sewer drain proved to be a team effort for Pinellas Park police officers, firefighters and public works employees Thursday.

As the dog's anxious owner looked on, the city employees mounted a rescue operation, ultimately returning the pup to the arms of his owner. Except for having a wet, smelly coat, the dog was no worse for the experience.
