The Wharf Has Oysters That Rock

Pass-A-Grille is home to many restaurants that offer one-of-a-kind atmospheres and menus with no barriers. The Wharf is no exception.

Customers can access either by boat or on foot. The local spot is known to most residents and is also frequented by visitors or those new to the area. After one glance, the menu, which offers an array of seafood, pulls people in.

This week, for Beach Bites, I tried the Oysters Diane ($9.25). The recipe is similar to the traditional Rockefeller approach and includes parsley, butter sauce and bread crumbs prior to being baked. The Wharf adds their own blend of Pass-A-Grille flavor by topping off the oysters on the half shell with crab meat and a creamy white sauce.

The plate is a balanced blend of fresh seafood and culinary expertise, a perfect dish to enjoy on the beach.
