There's 4,500 more reasons for boaters to participate in the annual Redington Beaches/ Indian Shores.

REDINGTON BEACH, FL — There's 4,500 more reasons for boaters to participate in the annual Redington Beaches/ Indian Shores.
The Holiday Boat Parade Committee, in cooperation with Caddy’s – Indian Shores restaurant, will give away a new grand prize worth more than $4,500 for the overall winner of the 2019 Holiday Boat Parade set for Sunday, Dec. 22.
The grand prize will be a combination of $2,500 cash plus a two-day stay-cation beach-front apartment visit, beach cabana usage at Caddy’s – Treasure Island and a gift card for meals at any of the four Caddy’s restaurants, valued at more than $2,000. The Caddy’s restaurant group has locations in Indian Shores, Treasure Island, Gulfport, and Bradenton.

The boat parade committee saluted Caddy’s for its continuing commitment to hosting the 2019 Awards Party at the end of the parade. Caddy’s is continuing the 20-year old tradition initiated by the old Pub Restaurant in the same location. The awards party features a complimentary buffet meal for all the participating boat crews, as well as the prize giving.
The Redington Beaches/Indian Shores Holiday Boat Parade, in addition to the new grand prize, gives out more than $8,000 in prizes for best-decorated boats in three size categories. The category prizes include a combination of cash and/or donations from local merchants. Merchant donations typically include gift certificates for food and drink at other local restaurants and merchandise. Winners will be determined by four judges, who are volunteers representing the four towns that sponsor the parade.

Participating boats are requested to rendezvous just north of the Tom Stuart (Madeira Beach) Causeway at 5:45 p.m. for the 6 p.m. start of the parade.
The parade will begin in Redington Beach and proceed up to North Redington Beach, Redington Shores and Indian Shores, ending at Caddy's Indian Shores.
Viewing spots include the Pinellas County Boat Launch on Gulf Boulevard and Indian Shores Town Hall.

The parade is jointly sponsored by the towns of Redington Beach, North Redington Beach, Redington Shores and Indian Shores. Each town provides initial financial support that is supplemented by private cash donations and prize merchandise donations from local businesses.
