Top Tech Buys In Florida For Black Friday, Cyber Monday
To find out which tech products Americans are buying this Black Friday, PCMag conducted a survey of 1,500 consumers.

TAMPA BAY, FL -- The holiday shopping season is in full swing and shoppers throughout Tampa Bay are beginning to hunt for deals.
As always, some of the best deals this Black Friday will be on tech items - with huge discounts on TVs, gaming, smart home and more.
To find out which tech products Americans are buying this Black Friday, PCMag conducted a survey of 1,500 consumers and found the average consumer will spend $327.20 on technology products over Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Here how Floridians will shop for tech products this holiday season:
- Smartphones are the top tech gift in Florida this year, with 28 percent looking to gift a new smartphone like the iPhone XR or Samsung Galaxy Note 9.
- Audio devices (23 percent) and tablets and e-readers (25 percent) follow as Florida's preferred tech gifts.
- Just over 40 percent of Floridians (41 percent) look to Amazon for the best tech deals, followed by Best Buy (28 percent) and Walmart (16 percent).
- 37 percent of Florida consumers will be shopping on Black Friday for the best tech bargains, while 32 percent opt for after Christmas sales. And 24 percent will surf online on Cyber Monday.
- 48 percent of Floridians plan to spend $200 or less on tech purchases this holiday, with 10 percent planning to spend $800 or more on tech gifts.
- More than half of Floridians plan to shop online this Black Friday (52 percent), while 30 percent prefer shopping in-store.
