4 Bodies Found At Scene Of Plant City House Fire: Hillsborough Sheriff

PLANT CITY, FL — A Plant City house fire is under investigation after four bodies were found at the scene, according to a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office news release.

The fire broke out early Wednesday morning, just after midnight, in the block of 6600 S. County Line Road.

When they arrived, deputies found four people had died, the sheriff’s office said.

Deputies are working with Hillsborough Fire Rescue to determine the cause of the fire.

"Our detectives are working closely with Hillsborough Fire Rescue to thoroughly investigate the circumstances surrounding this fire," Sheriff Chad Chronister said. "Our priority is to uncover the cause and ensure the safety of the individuals in our community."
