New Restaurant, Rooster & The Till, Planned for Florida Avenue

A new restaurant featuring some well-known names in Tampa is said to be coming to Seminole Heights in June. The Rooster & The Till is targeting a June opening date at 6500 Florida Ave., according to an article on TBO.com. That puts them in the same building as the S.E. Mattis at the Heights Barbershop.

"Ferrell Alvarez, formerly executive chef at Café Dufrain on Harbor Island, is partnering with Ty Rodriguez and Brian Lampe," Jeff Houck writes on TBO.com.

Some herbs and vegetables could be grown on an indoor wall, and other items will come from Florida farms, according to the article.
